Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PathMaker ("PathMaker," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PathMaker mobile application (the "App"). By using PathMaker, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Health & Fitness Data (Apple HealthKit)

With your permission, PathMaker reads the following data from Apple HealthKit so it can display your activity inside the App:

PathMaker never writes data to Apple Health, never sells health data, and never uses health data for advertising or marketing purposes. Health data is read directly from your device each time the App needs it and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. You control this access at any time in the iPhone Settings app under Privacy & Security → Health → PathMaker, or in the Health app under Sharing → Apps.

Motion & Fitness Data

While the App is open, PathMaker may use your iPhone's on-device motion coprocessor (via Apple's Core Motion framework) to show live step updates. This processing happens entirely on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

Account Information

If you create an account, we collect the information needed to authenticate you:

Subscription & Purchase Information

If you subscribe to PathMaker Premium, purchase processing is handled entirely by Apple's App Store and our subscription-management partner, RevenueCat. We receive subscription status and transaction identifiers so the App can unlock premium features — PathMaker never sees or stores your payment card details.

Usage & Analytics Data

We use Amplitude to collect anonymous product-usage events (for example, which screens are viewed or which onboarding steps are completed) so we can understand how the App is used and improve it. This data is not linked to your health data and does not include the contents of your Health data.

Device Identifiers

An anonymous, per-installation identifier is used by RevenueCat to associate your device with your subscription entitlement.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information or health data. We share limited information with the following service providers, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PathMaker, our users, or others.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated profile data at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account). This action is irreversible. Health data itself is never stored on our servers, so deleting your PathMaker account has no effect on your Apple Health data — that remains under your control in the Health app.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the App, or by contacting us using the details below.

6. Children's Privacy

PathMaker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (including encrypted network connections and secure storage of authentication tokens on-device) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

9. Contact Us
